General Directions: The first time you access the forums below, you need to "Join a Class. To access a forum thereafter, you need only enter your Username and Password.

Join a Class:
1- Enter the CLASS KEY code provided by the instructor
2- Make up a UserName and Password (write it down in a safe place)
3- Join the Class
4- Once you have "joined," you just enter your Username and Password at the prompt.

Posting Journal Entry:
1- Use the "Conferencing" link to view topics
2- Click on the appropriate Topic Title
3- To Post your response to the instructor's posting, use the Post Message to ... link
4- To respond or reply to another student's questions or comments, click on the Reply link found under their subject line.

Do not use "Send a personal message to ..." unless you want to email that person.


Inspiration Journal Use the topic "ADOPTION: Inspiration" on the forum board to share your experience(s) using Inspiration to create a concept map. Check back periodically to see how others are doing, perhaps even to offer them suggestions. Text Reference: Chapter 1 (Sorry...this forum is closed)

KidPix Journal Use the topic "ADOPTION: KidPix" on the forum board to share your experience(s) using KipdPix to create a lesson plan AND a student model of the lesson. PowerPoint Journal Use the topic "ADOPTION: PowerPoint" on the forum board to share your experience(s) using PowerPoint, keep notes on your trials and tribulations (and successes!) In addition, read over some of the comments made about PowerPoint at Darwin and add your "two cents" worth on the use/misuse of PowerPoint on our forum. WebPage Journal Use the topic "ADOPTION: WebPages" on the forum board to share your experience(s) developing a website using HTML, Composer, or TeacherWeb. Check this forum to see how others are doing and respond to comments made by others in the class. Text Reference: Chapter 6

NOTE: There is NO forum discussion for your E-TIPS assignment. All reasoning and discussion should be included in your three responses on the ETIPS website. Text Reference: Chapter 8

efolio Journal Use the topic "ADOPTION: efolio" on the forum board to share your joys and sorrows, trials, tribulations, and helpful efolio tips with the rest of the class. Be sure to check this forum often, to find answers to your questions and perhaps to see how others solved or worked around their efolio problems. Text Reference: Chapter 9
